So much has been said about larger-than-life reggae superstar Bob Marley. But "One Love", the upcoming biopic produced by his widow Rita and children Ziggy and Cedella Marley promises an intimate look at Marley's life.
It portrays Bob Marley's journey from Jamaica to London after surviving an assassination attempt. After facing turmoil in Jamaica, Marley finds relative peace in London as he reconnects with his band, records "Exodus," and reflects on his identity as a political activist and global music icon.
The film explores Marley's complexities, including his political activism, personal relationships, and spiritual beliefs, as he evolves into a transcendent figure promoting liberation beyond national borders.
