This holiday, little bookworms don't have to stay tucked away in their rooms enjoying stories all by themselves. Instead, they can dive into the world of books with friends, sharing favorite characters, exciting adventures, and lots of laughter at The Waterfront, Karen, which is hosting its first Kids Book Club on the 7th of December 2024 from 10 am to 4 pm.
The book club is designed for a variety of children, from toddlers to teens, who enjoy literature or need engaging activities during the holiday season. Even so, the day won't just be about reading; there will also be a mini writers' workshops, a 'make your own snack' opportunity and a spelling bee competition for kids to test their memory skills.
Additionally, puppeteer Michael Mutahi will entertain and engage the little ones with captivating storytime sessions. Using his vibrant puppets, he will share a selection of intriguing stories that will capture their attention and spark their creativity. It's a chance for children to experience the magic of storytelling in a dynamic and interactive way!
