In Kenya's first Classical Music Safari, Prof. Levon Ambartsumian and Prof. Shakhida Azimkhodjaeva, both of the University of Georgia's Hugh Hodgson School of Music perform Bruch's Double Concerto, intertwined with the sounds of Mozart in the country's newest state of the art ampitheatre at Eugenia Park, Kenyatta Rd.

Accompanied by Kenya's own diamonds of excellence, the Zuri String Quartet and distinguished players, the team from the University of Georgia will also perform three Kenyan pieces: "Githurai to Galway;" "Hifadhi;" and "Safari ya Bamba."

A final vocal performance by soprano May Ombara will display the fusion of traditional opera and Kenyan culture.
