The Count: Love and Honor (El Conde: Amor y Honor) is a Telemundo production from 2022. The show is a period drama adapted from 1844 novel, The Count of Monte Cristo. It stars Ana Brenda Contreras and Fernando Colunga.

The Count: Love and Honor follows the story of Alejandro, an intelligent and attractive foreman who transforms into a wealthy and powerful man to exact revenge on those who hurt him. Alejandro's destiny changes when he meets Mariana.

Mariana is a cultured young woman from a wealthy family who has enjoyed a life of privilege. However, Mariana is characterized by having a free spirit and does not believe in social differences. Mariana has a suitor who represents financial stability for her and her family, but she is not in love, so she avoids commitment at all costs. Her destiny crosses with Alejandro and they fall madly in love.

Alejandro and Mariana's love story turns into hell when Alejandro is unjustly sentenced for a crime he did not commit. Twenty years later, Alejandro manages to escape from prison and returns as the powerful Count of Montenegro. This will be the beginning of his dangerous revenge against those responsible for his imprisonment. It will be this incident that turns Alejandro from a kind and fair man, to a cold, calculating one with a thirst for revenge. Will their love endure all these challenges?
