Jose Emilio and Angelli are finally married! The couple has endured numerous adversities in their relationship but were able to overcome it all and get back together.  Rebecca was the main reason why they were separated because she tricked Jose Emilio into marrying her. Jose Emilio however figured out her tricks and got divorced from her.

Rebecca could not openly oppose Jose Emilio and Angelli because she is pretending to have amnesia to escape her crimes. She therefore decided to stop Angelli's wedding by setting up a trap for her. Rebecca sent Angelli an invitation to a romantic hotel date by pretending to be Jose Emilio. She also made Renato go to the hotel so that Jose Emilio would find them together. Jose Emilio initially thought Angelli was secretly seeing Renato again but she managed to calm him down so that they could figure out what was going on.

Angelli and Jose Emilio thus lied to Rebecca that they had cancelled their wedding. They gave her and Misael tickets to their honeymoon destination, hoping that they would leave. When the two left for the airport, Angelli and Jose Emilio got married. It was not easy to keep the secret because everyone else knew about the wedding. Rebecca found out at the airport and went to the wedding. She was not able to ruin the ceremony because Angelli and Jose Emilio were already married.  She was kicked out of the reception because everyone knew that she only wanted to ruin the happy occasion.
