Lorena was able to escape from prison with her friends because she could not prove her innocence, but how long can she run away from the authorities?

Lorena was working at Florencia's company and was in charge of organizing the company's annual anniversary,when a crime occurred at the party.  Juan Pablo ended up dead and since Lorena was seen arguing with him, she was accused of the murder.  Alejandro was assigned as her lawyer but he was not able to prove her innocence. Lorena was sent to prison.

Lorena had to leave her sister Gabriela alone since they had lost their parents in an accident. She could not accept that she would spend over 40 years in prison for a crime she did not commit. She therefore decided to help the other inmates escape when she overheard their plans.

Lorena's ex-boyfriend, Ismael, was given the task to find the escaped convicts. He also happens to be Florencia's husband. The two were separated when he dated Lorena but he is now working on mending their marriage. He is also determined to catch Lorena and take her back to prison because Juan Pablo was his best friend.  He almost caught Lorena once when she met up with Gabriela but she was able to escape from him.
